Barack Obama And His Family Joined Clooney On A Boat Trip In Lake Como


The former president, Barack Obama enjoying his time out of office as he joined the A-list actor for a cruise along Lake Como.

Michelle and Amal Clooney, as well as Obama’s daughters Malia, 20, and Sasha, 18, were seen having a good time in the boat.

It is believed that the two families were on their way to a charity dinner for The Clooney Foundation for Justice.

 The foundation, founded by the Clooneys, worked for marginalized communities who have fallen victim to human rights abuses.

Drawing on Amal Clooney’s expertise as an international human rights lawyer, the foundation monitors world governments who use their legal systems to persecute political enemies. 

Among some of her more high profile clients have been Nadia Murad, a former sex slave who is fighting to bring Isis to justice.

George, 58, and Barack, 57, were looking dapper as they dressed casually for the event, wearing open shirts and each opting to go without a tie.

Michelle, Amal, Malia and Sasha, all wore flowing dresses and skirts for the occasion and could be seen coming out from the boat with help as it docked at a colorful harbor.

George and Amal are currently hosting the former First Family at their lakeside mansion retreat on the lake.

The former first family traveled to Avignon by private jet, just days after Sasha graduated from high school in front of her parents and her older sibling.

From France, the Obamas flew via private jet to Italy, where they stopped in Milan.

According to the sources, they were staying at a $60,000-a-week villa (around £47,000) in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine region, before flying to Italy by private jet.
