Octopus is considered to be one of the most intelligent marine creatures.
They are best known for the way they deceive their prey and hide when the situation is the opposite. They are more than capable of making their way through the water.
But this lazy octopus decided to hitch a ride on a diver’s leg.
Apparently, Jess Grubb, a 29-year-old diver became a driver to a curious cephalopod that got stuck on the right side of her leg. The video shows the octopus being transported on Jess’s right side.

She was enjoying her diving session in Oahu, Hawaii when this incident was filmed.
Underwater videographer, Shane Brown spotted the octopus swimming close to Jess and decided to film the pair swimming in harmony.
Shane encouraged the octopus to swim close to Jess.
Jess gracefully dives in closer to the octopus and it climbs on her right side.The scene was mesmerizing and something that Jess and Shane weren’t expecting when they were preparing to dive into the stunning azure of Hawaiian sea.
Elegant spins and dives encouraged the octopus to latch itself tightly around Jess’ leg. It is rare to see an octopus mingling with humans like this and we are sure that Jess won’t forget this astounding moment. She will be glad that the whole incident was captured on camera.
The whole encounter lasted for 30 minutes before the octopus parted ways with Jess and Shane.
