More than one hundred retired military officials voiced their concerns over Biden’s mental health in a shocking open letter.
Questioning the 46th US President’s election win and the ability to run the nation, over 120 retired generals and admirals signed the open letter, Business Insider reported.
The open letter was initially released by Flag Officers 4 America, a group of retired generals and admirals who vowed to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” on their website.
“Although retired from active service, each of us feels bound by that oath to do what we can, in our capacity today, to protect our nation from the threats to her freedom,” the Flag Officers 4 America site reads.
In their letter, 124 retired military officials said that “the mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored.”
“He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night,” the letter read.
Kicking off the controversial piece, the retired military figures wrote:
“Our Nation is in deep peril. We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776. The conflict is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty.”
Before challenging Biden’s mental wellbeing, the letter went on to question the President’s election win saying that “without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the ‘will of the people’ our Constitutional Republic is lost.”
“The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020,” senior military figures wrote.
In some parts, the open letter appeared to directly reflect Trump’s voter fraud allegations and calls for an investigation into the 2020 election, whereas the signatories suggested that Biden abused power and “launched a full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 Executive Orders quickly signed.”
Among other points of concern presented in the letter, the military figures slammed the current administration for “re-engaging in the flawed Iran Nuclear Deal,” stopping the Keystone Pipeline, and “establishing cooperative relations with the Chinese Communist Party.”
In conclusion, the letter went on to accuse the current Administration of leading the country into a Marxist and Socialist regime.
“[This] must be countered now by electing congressional and presidential candidates who will always act to defend our Constitutional Republic,” the letter reads.
