People were left baffled by an optical illusion that has been circulating the internet and dividing opinions.

Speaking of the photo below, many internet users said that they first found the clown while others insisted that the photo only shows a dog.

So, what do you see first? A dog or a clown crawling on the floor?

The photo has since been shared across social media platforms thousands of times, whereas many users claimed they couldn’t find the clown while others were left baffled after finally realizing the photo features a big black dog.

One exhausted Twitter user wrote: “This frazzled my brain,” while another said: “This image is creeping me out.”

Someone suggested: “I was only seeing a dog until you pointed it out and I can see both a clown and a dog.”

Anyway, the photo actually shows a black pooch that is staring at the camera. If you look on the right side of the photo, you can also see its paws and nails. The adorable pooch is also wearing a bright-red collar which some people initially mistook for the ear of the clown.

Can’t see the clown? Fortunately, someone made an outline of the creepy face to prove their point.

Whatever you saw first, just make sure not to stare at the image for too long before bedtime or the clown might pay you a visit in your dreams!
