A Reuters report has revealed disturbing writings of presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke among other shocking revelations from when the former Congressman was a teenager.
“It’s unclear whether the United States is ready for a presidential contender who, as a teenager, stole long-distance phone service for his dial-up modem, wrote a murder fantasy in which the narrator drives over children on the street, and mused about a society without money,” the outlet reported.
The report said O’Rourke had also remained involved in a hacker group.
According to Reuters, the former House Representative from Texas fantasized about “toppling the government” but doubted that “the masses would support such a radical move at this time.”

The report noted how O’Rourke reportedly wrote disturbing details about murdering children.
“One day, as I was driving home from work, I noticed two children crossing the street,” O’Rourke wrote of the narrator. “They were happy, happy to be free from their troubles …This happiness was mine by right. I had earned it in my dreams.”
“As I neared the young ones, I put all my weight on my right foot, keeping the accelerator pedal on the floor until I heard the crashing of the two children on the hood, and then the sharp cry of pain from one of the two,” O’Rourke continued.
“I was so fascinated for a moment, that when after I had stopped my vehicle, I just sat in a daze, sweet visions filling my head.”
It came just on the heels of other controversial stories centering around O’Rourke’s driving.
He reportedly crashed into a vehicle while driving in a drunk state on the night of his 26th birthday. Even though O’Rourke claimed he just had two beers, The Washington Post disagreed.
“When O’Rourke blew into a breathalyzer, the results were a blood alcohol content of 0.136 and 0.134. The legal state limit in Texas at the time was 0.10; a year later, it was lowered to 0.08,” The Washington Post reported.
“With a blood alcohol level of between 0.130 and 0.159, a person experiences ‘gross motor impairment and lack of physical control. Blurred vision and major loss of balance. Euphoria is reducing and beginning dysphoria (a state of feeling unwell).’
“For a male of 190 pounds, O’Rourke’s weight as listed in the police report, that blood alcohol concentration is reached after six drinks.”
O’Rourke tried to flee the scene of the accident but was physically refrained from doing so by a reporter present there, the police report noted.
During his 2018 failed Senate race in Texas against Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, O’Rourke repeatedly lied about the incident and was hence given “Four Pinocchios” by The Post in its “fact check.”
O’Rourke also stirred controversy during his last year campaign when he tweeted videos of himself talking to the camera while driving.
Due to his notoriously reckless driving, O’Rourke was also slammed by The American Council On Science And Health with an article titled “Please, Beto O’Rourke, Drive Safely.”
