Adam Sandler has shared a heartbreaking tribute to his Grown Ups co-star Alec Musser after he passed away at the age of 50.
The late star reportedly died in his California home. His fiancée, Paige Press, confirmed the heartbreaking news of his passing to TMZ but details surrounding the circumstances have not been made public.
After learning about his passing, Sandler, 57, took to Instagram and shared a photo of Musser in the film Grown Ups.
“I loved this guy. Cannot believe he is gone. Such a wonderful, funny good man. Thinking of Alec Musser and his family and sending all my love. A true great sweetheart of a person,” Sandler wrote.
The late actor made appearances in Rita Rocks and The Phantom Executioner, Road to the Altar, Grown Ups, and Desperate Housewives.
He left a lasting impression on colleagues and viewers after his appearance in All My Children in 2005.
Musser also graced the covers of men’s magazines such as Men’s Workout and Men’s Health.
His final post on Instagram was shared only days before he died. The photo shows him surfing and he captioned his post: “Silhouette by Baja Winter twilight.”
Friends and fans have taken to the comments section to pay tributes to the late star.
