Alec Musser, most well-known for All My Children, has passed away at the age of 50.
The heartbreaking news was confirmed by his fiancée, Paige Press, and said that he died of an undisclosed cause at his California home.
His grieving uncle also told TMZ about the news but did not disclose the cause of death.
Musser previously starred as Del Henry on the TV series All My Children.
He landed the role in July 2005 after he managed to win the second season of the SOAPnet orginal series I Wanna Be a Soap Star.
The actor also appeared in Rita Rocks, Desperate Housewives, Grown Ups and Road to the Altar.
Musser graduated from the University of San Diego and worked with the professional ski patrol at Mammouth Mountain.
That’s where he was found by an agent for his first modeling job at Abercrombie and Fitch.
Musser had many modeling credits including Speeo and Target, Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, and GQ.
After appearing in many commercials, he auditioned for I Wanna Be a Soap Star.
His final post on Instagram was a photo of himself surfing only days before he died. Shocked fans took to the comments sections and left tributes.
Musser’s fiancé shared a series of photos on her Instagram Story and wrote: “RIP to the love of my life. I will never stop loving you.
“Today is the worst day of my life. We were so happy.’
‘You were the best fiancé I could of [sic] ever asked for. I don’t even think I can drive my g wagon anymore.”
One fan commented: “So sad. Too young. May his family find comfort in happy memories.”
Another wrote: “It’s sad when someone fairly young passes away. May he rest in peace.”
