Alyssa Milano, 50, has apologized to Britney Spears, 41, after she shared a ‘bullying’ post about the singer on Twitter.
The issue started on December 22 when the actress reacted to the singer’s Instagram video. She then took to Twitter and wrote: “Someone please go check on Britney Spears.”
The Toxic hitmaker then took to Instagram and called out the Brazen star for expressing concern about her health.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Britney shared a screenshot of Alyssa’s post on Twitter and accused her of bullying.
“It saddens me to see things about me from people who don’t know me!!! This definitely feels like a form of bullying,” the songstress said.
“Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another not pulling one another down!”
A representative for Alyssa just revealed that the Charmed star reached out to the Baby Hit Me One More Time hitmaker to apologize.
Alyssa also sent Britney a ‘supportive’ message.
According to reports, the actress is not the only one to voice concerns for the singer. Just recently, police were called to Britney’s house after fans noticed that she deleted her Instagram page.
In a long post on Twitter, the Slave 4 U hitmaker wrote at that time: “As everyone knows the police were called to my home based on some prank phone calls.
“I love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded. The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realized there was no issue and left immediately.”
She continued: “This felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the news and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light by the media.
“During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward.”
