Real Housewives star Bethenny Frankel shared how she became the ‘topic of conversation’ at TSA after her private part set off airport metal detector.
The 53-year-old recounted how she was forced to undergo further pat down while traveling to Aspen, Colorado, with her daughter.
Taking to Instagram, she told her 3.3 million followers: “All of a sudden, you see the screen, and it just shows a square — a red square — over my vag*na.”
Frankel continued: “And Bryn starts cracking up! And the woman looks at me, and she goes, ‘So yeah, I have to pat you down.’”
The star tried to explain the TSA agent that she did not have anything there but she was still subjected to an additional screening.
Her teenage daughter and ‘the whole line’ behind her were left in tears amid her embarrassment.
“I did not put anything in there. Yeah, no, I don’t have anything metal in my wazoo. Something is buzzing in there. Maybe it’s excited to go away on a vacation, I don’t know,” she expressed.
Many of her followers shared their own experiences, with many revealing how they had been flagged over their ‘suspicious groin.’
One fan said: “Mine was flagged too when I traveled earlier this month. They’re like do you want to go behind a curtain. I’m like hell I’m 50 and birthed 3 children let’s just go now and make it quick.”
Another said: “Omg I kept dinging also after taking almost everything off I remembered just got a pair of Victoria Secret things with a metal circle holding it together. I too was with my daughter & son.”
A third added: “At least now you can say your hoo is buzz worthy.”
