Bethenny Frankel has been slammed on social media for sharing ‘inappropriate’ photos of her young daughter.
The former Real Housewives of New York City star shared a series of Instagram photos of their vacation in Turks and Caicos, writing: “Two jerks in TURKS. After a hardworking year, mixed with some medical issues, this trip was an impulse decision and I think we made a good choice…
“New Year’s resolutions incoming and being crafted as we speak… xoxo.”
The photos show the 53-year-old mom sporting a colorful one-piece swimsuit and long skirt that she matched with a straw fedora and Gucci sunglasses.
Frankel also shared photos of her 13-year-old daughter wearing a light-blue bikini while enjoying the sun.
But the images of her daughter left many fans furious, with many slamming the TV personality for her ‘inappropriate post.’
One person commented: “After following you for a bit I have to say you move very very weird. It’s like you purposely exploit your daughter and post pictures of her that should be private. You KNOW you’re going to get comments about it.”
Another wrote: “Not sure the picture of your young daughter is a great idea considering some of the people on social media.”
A third said: “Swimsuit shots of your daughter are so inappropriate and exploitive.”
Someone else added: “I feel like these pictures of her daughter are intentionally posted and it makes me sick. I noticed a lot of other people basically commented the same way.”
But many were quick to jump to Frankel’s defense, explaining that there was nothing wrong with sharing photos of her teenager.
One person wrote: “Some of these comments – Jesus Christ the pearl clutching. Bryn isn’t 8 years old. She’s a teenager. Bethenny knows what’s best for her child. I can’t believe I’m commenting on a strangers IG, but here we are.”
Another said: “She’s in swimwear at the beach and her mom took her picture. I don’t understand the outrage.”
