A Las Vegas chapel worker who witnessed Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s wedding ceremony has revealed more details of their nuptials.
Speaking with Good Morning America, Kenosha Portis – who worked as a witness at the Little White Wedding Chapel – said that the couple arrived before they closed the shop to tie the knot.
She also said Bennifer were ‘emotional’ and ‘cried’ during the intimate ceremony.
“It was so exciting. I mean, we were getting ready to close and we had a special guest arrive as a walk-in. I started shaking a little bit, you know, ‘Oh my God this is Jennifer Lopez we are getting ready to marry!’” Kenosha recalled.
“As they were reading each other’s vows, they were very sweet, they both were emotional.
“They cried to each other. The kids were right there behind them.”
Kenosha also said that Jennifer wore a “nice, elegant, beige, lacy type dress. It had a train on it. The veil was beautiful.
“Everything was very sleek and beautiful. She was stunning. She had a beautiful bouquet, white bouquet, that she had, and he had a boutonniere as well that matches that.”
According to People, JLo walked down the aisle to Here Comes The Bride.
Among the very few people who attended the ceremony were one of Ben’s three children and Jennifer’s child Emme.
A chapel source said to the publication that the pair wanted it to be simple.
“Jen and Ben are so gaga in love that they wanted to get married. They are busy and wanted to make it easy and intimate in a fun setting to symbolize their happiness after so long,” the source added.
Because of their heavy workloads, the newlyweds won’t go on their honeymoon right away. But JLo won’t let this bring them down.
“Jennifer says that every day with Ben is a honeymoon,” a source said to People.
“Ever since they started dating again, Jennifer has truly believed that this is it.”
