A young boy believes that he was reincarnated and claims he has sharp memories of being a Hollywood star who passed away 40 years ago.
Ryan Hammond from Oklahoma was only 3 when he started talking about his past life. He has gained national interest in the US as he claims he was a popular Hollywood agent before being born again in 2004, The Sun reported.
He believes that he was once Marty Martyn, who started his career as an extra in many films.
Marty was born in Philadelphia in 1903 then moved to LA to set up the Marty Martyn Agency. He died in 1964 due to brain hemorrhage at the age of 61.
He told NBC News that he remembers his heart ‘exploding’ before going towards the light.
Dr. Jim Tucker, an associate professor of psychiatry and neurobehavioral sciences, studies cases of individuals who believe they had a past life, and Ryan is one of those who can remember the past accurately.
The young boy would often tell his mom to take him to Hollywood so he could see his ‘other family.’
Ryan even recalled an incident when he punched Marilyn Monroe’s bodyguard. His mother would then collect books and photos of Hollywood, including an image from the 1932 film Night After Night that also featured actor George Raft.
He allegedly pointed straight to the star and said: “Hey Mama, that’s George. We did a picture together. And mama, that guy’s me. I found me.”
Ryan then met Marty’s sister but was left baffled as she was no longer a young girl.
Ryan told his mother that he chose her to be his mom while being reincarnated.
But as he grows older, memories of his past life have faded.
One evening, he told his mother that it is important to go towards the light after passing away as it allows people to come back.
