A bride has spoken out to defend her wedding dress after thousands of people branded it as inappropriate and compared the young woman to a stripper.

Sandra is a newlywed young lady from the US who sparked criticism on the internet after sharing pictures from her big day back in April.

In her wedding clips, the woman is seen wearing a strapless skintight wedding dress that accentuates her curves and looks nothing out of the ordinary at first sight.

While people had no issues with the front side of the dress, they weren’t shy to point out that the back was very revealing and that it made her buttocks appear partially exposed due to the positioning of the delicate lace.

“Nah I couldn’t cope with the back of the dress showing my a**,” one viewer wrote after the bride’s wedding clip went viral.

Another said: “No offense meant but you look more like a stripper than a bride.”

Responding to the video that racked up over four million views were countless other people who pondered the bride’s decision to wear the revealing dress in front of her family members.

“Was it awkward walking in front of your family like that?” someone asked.

“I like the dress but why would you wear it in front of your parents??” another questioned.

Despite the backlash, many viewers also ran to the bride’s defense saying she looked beautiful on her big day.

“That dress is absolutely stunning, you look unreal,” someone gushed.

“You look absolutely stunning, I don’t think you could’ve picked a more beautiful dress to fit your figure,” another expressed.

A third explained: “She’s probably wearing nude underlining under the lace so there’s no actual nudity here.”
