Bruce Willis’ fans were left heartbroken after his family gathered to watch ‘Die Hard’ with him.
His wife, Emma Hemming Willing, gave fans a glimpse into their celebration in social media posts.
In a short video shared on Instagram, Bruce and Emma’s daughters Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, 9, can be seen going down the stairs to find presents under a Christmas tree.
“From our family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas!!” Emma wrote.
Fans were quick to flood the comment section with appreciation for the family, with many thanking them for being an inspiration.
Emma then took to Instagram Stories and shared a video of the family watching the movie Die Hard.
The debate about whether Die Hard’ is a Christmas film has been ongoing for years as it is set at that time of the year but doesn’t follow the themes of a standard Christmas movie.
In an attempt to end the debate, Rummer Willis took to Instagram and shared a clip featuring her and her sisters, Scout and Tallulah.
“I’ve collected all three Willis girls,” she said in the video. Scout then announced: “It’s a f***ing Christmas movie. It takes place during Christmas.”
The sisters then declared: “It’s a Christmas movie.”
The siblings have been a great source of support for their dad especially after the family revealed that he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.
In March 2022, Bruce had retired form acting after his heartbroken family announced that he had aphasia, a condition that affects comprehension and speech.
In February 2023, more tests revealed that he has frontotemporal dementia.
Emma and Bruce’s ex-wife, Demi Moore have kept their followers updated about the star’s condition.
