People have rushed to the defense of a Burger King employee after she was shamed by a customer during her shift.
Lala, who goes under the username @rockefeller on TikTok, shared how a female customer body-shamed her and claimed that her uniform was ‘distracting’ her husband.
The worker claimed that the customer loudly expressed her annoyance about the uniform while she was serving them.
Lala then took to TikTok where she shared the incident and showed her uniform to viewers. She explained that her outfit, which consisted of a collared polo shirt, black jeans, the company’s branded cap, and a face mask, adhered to Burger King’s guidelines.
In the clip, she said: “I had a lady complain today because my uniform was a ‘distraction’ to her husband…”
She then gave her followers a 360-degree view of her uniform. Her post quickly went viral and gained support from viewers, receiving more than 5 million likes and over 28 million views.
People also reassured Lala that there was nothing wrong with her uniform and that she was not at fault.
One person wrote: “Maybe she should just get a new husband. You can’t help what goes on in other relationships. Just be you.”
