Cher has left her fans heartbroken after she finally admitted that she ‘hates’ aging and that she would do anything to be 70 again.
In an interview with Today, the Burlesque star made it clear that aging is not a concept she fully embraces.
As she celebrated the 25th anniversary of her 1998 hit ‘Believe,’ she also expressed her frustration, saying: “It’s not that amazing. It p***** the f*** out of me.”
Even though her late mother, Georgia Holt, did not mind aging, Cher revealed that she would want to go back in time.
“I’d give anything to be 70 again,” she said during the interview.
In September, she also shared how she tries to maintain her style as she ages.
“I just can’t believe I will be 80 at some point, sooner than I wish,” she said in an interview with Good Morning Britain.
“And I will still be wearing my jeans and I will still be wearing long hair and I will still be doing the same stuff I’ve always done.”
This comes after Cher opened up about her relationship with Alexander ‘A.E.’ Edwards, who is 40 years younger than her.
In an interview with People, the legendary singer described her partner as a ‘beautiful man’ with distinctive white hair, diamond teeth, and tattoos.
“I think it’s fun to be interested in somebody else’s love life!”
She also shared how she unexpectedly fell in love with him through text, adding that a mutual friend gave the music executive her number.
“It was really shocking because people just don’t give out my number. I had been telling all my friends, ‘We’re too old to go out with really younger men, and I will never fall in love on text,’” Cher said.
“No matter what happens, I love being with him. He makes me laugh, and we have fun.”
