A woman has shared how she was left completely heartbroken after finding out her husband’s secret and why he married her.
Writing in the Atlanta Black Star, she explained that they met while working together at a call center. Because of her upbringing, she said that she wanted to be married first before having s*x.
But her status ‘became public knowledge’ among her co-workers and she ‘became a very hot commodity.’
She continued: “I remember being weary of all of them except for one guy in particular, who just seemed a little different from the rest.
“I actually gave him my number, and we would spend endless hours on the phone talking about everything and nothing.”
The woman then said that they went on to tie the knot and have children together.
But far later on in their marriage, she discovered through a mutual friend that her husband ‘won’ a bet to be her ‘first.’
The shocked wife is now considering divorcing him, admitting she was ‘disturbed’ and ‘crushed’ by the truth.
When she returned home, she confronted her spouse who confirmed it but called the bet ‘childish.’
“I found it to be crude and downright disgusting and told him so. He became defensive and accused me of overreacting and decided to turn his back on me and go back to sleep. I have spoken to my parents about the matter and am considering divorce,” she added.
