Wedding bells will be ringing as Demi Lovato is finally engaged to her boyfriend, Jordan ‘Jutes’ Lutes, after dating for more than a year.

It was in August 2022 when the couple made their relationship public after they collaborated on the song ‘Substance’ in January.

Their bond became stronger and now, Lutes presented the ‘La La Land’ hitmaker with a pear-shaped diamond solitaire engagement ring.

According to PEOPLE, the newly engaged couple celebrated their engagement with their loved ones in one of their favorite restaurants in Los Angeles.

This comes after Lovato celebrated her 31st birthday with a heartwarming tribute from her beau.

Sharing a series of photos and videos on social media, the songwriter expressed his love for the Camp Rock star and wrote: “Happy birthday to my best friend. You’re obviously the most beautiful and talented person to ever do it, but more importantly, you’re weird af, and you make me cry laughing.”

In addition to co-writing ‘Substance’ with Lovato, he also shared writing credits on hit songs like ‘City of Angels’ and ‘Happy Ending.’

The ‘Cool For The Summer’ hitmaker, who has been open about her personal struggles, previously shared her newfound sense of contentment and happiness. She also mentioned that her next album would feature ‘sappy long songs’ thanks to her more positive views in life.

In an interview with CBS Mornings earlier this year, she said: “I definitely am in a really good place.

“I don’t know what I’m going to write about on my next album because I’m so happy. It is a really good feeling … definitely a bunch of sappy love songs – for sure.”
