A woman took to social media and shared how her husband disrespected her during their son’s first birthday party, prompting many internet users to urge her to divorce her husband immediately.
The mother, who goes under the username @candie1983 on TikTok, shared a video of her baby’s first birthday and it seemed adorable at first until the end of the clip.
The viral video shows the parents trying to convince their baby to try the ‘smash cake.’
But fast forward to the end of the TikTok video, the smash cake ended up in the mother’s face. While it was just a prank for the dad, the mom did not see the funny side.
“The time I wanted to choke my husband for putting out son smash cake in my face, surrounded my family I had just met for the first time,” she wrote.
“I had long look forward too our son 1st party and the family pictures.”
The mom added: “We didn’t get but one photo before I had to shower. Not sure why he thought this was a good idea…
“I cried like a baby at the memories lost, cake was even cut while I showered.”
TikTok users were quick to share their thoughts on the matter, with one person saying: “That’s immediate divorce!”
Another said: “I’m so sorry he was disrespectful. Total lack of boundaries.”
The mom responded to a comment and explained that her husband is a “wonderful dad.. very hands on and loving.”
