Dolph Lundgren has opened up about his marriage to Emma Krokdal, 27, after they tied the knot in July 2023.
The Wanted Man actor and the personal trainer started dating in 2019. After getting married last year, it appears that they have been enjoying marital bliss as the 66-year-old star has been showering his wife with praises.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Dolph shared some details about their marriage and said that it was a ‘good choice’ to get married.
“Emma is great. She’s wonderful. Great support. And we work together on a bunch of projects,” Dolph said to the outlet.
“She’s very clever, and she’s very smart for her age or for any age. So we produce stuff together. We have another project. We’re working on a comedy.”
Dolph and Emma worked together on Wanted Man. She was also a creative consultant on the 2021 film Castle Falls, which her now-husband directed and starred in.
Dolph told the outlet that his Norwegian-born wife had been working on Wanted Man.
“She helps me with the script and during the production and post-production. Just giving me a second opinion and double-checking,” he shared.
“So it’s actually getting married was a good choice, I really enjoy it.”
It is the actor’s third marriage, having previously married to Peri Momm in 1991 before tying the knot with interior designer Anette Qviberg in 1994.
Dolph and Anette share two daughters, Greta, 21, and Ida, 27. They divorced after 17 years of marriage.
Wanted Man was written by Dolph alongside screenwriters Hank Hughes and Michael Worth. The film will also star Roger Cross, Kelsey Grammar, and Michael Pare.
