Sister Wives star Garrison Brown struggled with depression and had problems with his ex-girlfriend before he was found dead at the age of 25.
His roommates – Addison, Tyler and Cheyenne – have spoken out and also revealed that the reality star struggled with addiction.
In a report on Thursday, a police officer said: “Addison stated that he has had conversations with [Garrison] about him being depressed lately.”
The report added: “He stated that (Garrison) is an alcoholic and drinks every night.”
Addison also claimed that Garrison appeared ‘intoxicated’ the night before he was found lifeless but explained that nothing the reality star ever said was a ‘red flag.’
He also said that the 25-year-old was not a happy person and that he was having issues with his former girlfriend.
Garrison’s other roommate, Cheyenne, said that they had been talking more recently but she did not know him very well.
“She stated that she talked a little more in-depth with him about how he was struggling with drinking and his depression surrounding that,” the report said.
This came after reports that Brown had sent ‘troubling’ texts.
One message that the reality star allegedly wrote read: “I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days.”
His mother, Janelle Brown, said she did not receive any of such texts but she called her other children to check on Garrison.
Garrison’s lifeless body was reportedly found by his brother Gabriel, who thought that Garrison was doing well after landing a new job at a medical facility.
