Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are set to welcome a new member of the family as their son Wyatt just confirmed that he and his wife Meredith Hagner are expecting their second child.
The 37-year-old star confirmed the exciting news to Entertainment News.
Speaking to presenters Carolina Bermudez and Justin Sylvester, Wyatt said that their 2-year-old son, Buddy Prine, is ‘prepared as you can be’ for big brother duties.
Wyatt said: “He just kind of rolls with the tide and see what comes.
“Buddy understands there’s a baby in the belly, but when the baby actually comes out, he’s gonna be like, ‘Oh my god, that’s a real thing.’”
The new member of the family will definitely get the benefits of being born into a famous family as Wyatt’s parents are Goldie and Kurt and his half-siblings are Oliver and Kate Hudson.
Wyatt and Meredith first met when they starred in the 2016 film Folk Hero & Funny Guy. They got married three years later at Goldie’s property in Aspen. Russell and Hawn were in attendance, as well as Kate and Oliver.
Wyatt is the only biological child of Kurt and Goldie.
Back in March 2021, Wyatt and Meredith announced that they had welcomed a baby boy. Taking to Instagram, the excited mom wrote: “VOGUE, BABY! And right after these photos we HAD A BABY, BABY!
“April issue of @voguemagazine in our van, Carnella, which we lived in for a big chunk of my pregnancy. 2weeks after these photos were taken we welcomed the heavenly Buddy Prine Russell into the world! It’s been nothing short of magic.”
