A groom has been slammed after a video of him delivering his wedding vows went viral on social media.
Samuel Foree, a wedding filmmaker from Louisville, shared the video on Instagram where the man can be seen reading out his vows.
But the social media users, even the officiant, were not impressed by his words and he was ripped apart online, with many saying his vows were ‘gross.’
The viral video shows the groom telling people that he ‘promises to smack that a** every chance he gets.’
“That’s all I got,” the groom added.
Baffled and unimpressed by his vows, the officiant asked: “Is that it?” to which the groom responded: “Yeah.”
The officiant then asked again: “Are you sure?” and the groom replied: “I didn’t write nothin’ down.”
“That’s what you’re going out with?” the officiant asked, and the groom confirmed it again while his bride awkwardly smiled.
Social media users were shocked by the groom’s unpreparedness, with many saying that the bride ‘deserves better.’
Another wrote: “Jesus. How sad for this woman and her family that this is what he says about her. He thinks he’s so funny that he didn’t write any vows but that.”
A third said: “You’re marrying the love of your life and didn’t write vows? Jesus christ this is depressing.”
Someone else commented: “Imagine your dream day and your dream man says this… gross.”
Another pointed out how the officiant tried to save the groom. “The officiant tried saving him and he didn’t get the hint!”
Someone else said: “Bless the officiant for trying to give him so many chances.”
