The Duke and Duchess of Sussex threw more allegations at the Royal Family in a new bombshell trailer for their Netflix documentary.
Royal fans were shocked when Prince Harry accused the Palace of ‘lying to protect my brother’ as he claimed that he and his wife were the real victims of ‘institutional gaslighting.’
In the 90-second video, Harry didn’t hesitate to drop the name of the Prince of Wales, the heir to the throne.
“They were happy to lie to protect my brother, they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us,” Harry said.
It is not clear who the Duke was referring to by ‘they’ but the couple have previously accused members of the royal household of leaking information to the Press in a bid to destroy their reputation.
“I wonder what would’ve happened to us had we not got out when we did,” he continued.
Meghan also said that their security was removed and people around the world knew their location.
“I said, ‘We need to get out of here,’” Harry expressed.
The couple also addressed their relationship with Prince William and Princess Kate, with Meghan saying: “I wasn’t being thrown to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves.”
A photo of Buckingham Palace is then displayed, with Harry claiming: “They were happy to lie to protect my brother (William). They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.”
Videos of their wedding were also revealed alongside newspaper headlines and news footage about the Sussexes.
“It gave us a chance to create that home we always wanted,” the Duchess said.
“I’ve always felt as though this was a fight worth fighting for,” Harry added.
