Hasbulla Magomedov said that he is not ready to go on dates yet because he’s still ‘too young’ despite being 19.
The TikTok star, who has dwarfism, was asked by radio host Kyle Sandilands whether he wanted ‘to get married one day.’
The ‘very popular young man’ then replied: “I will think about it later. I am too young.”
Hasbulla just arrived in Australia last month for his speaking tour and fans who wanted to get a snap with him were left saddened as he refused to pose for photos because of his ‘personal and cultural beliefs.’
His touring company The Hour Group said in a statement: “To our female guests, if you would like to attend [the tour’s official] meet and greet with Hasbulla, you are welcome to do so, but please acknowledge the limitations of photography.
“We understand the disappointment this creates. However, we respectfully acknowledge the cultural and personal beliefs of Hasbulla and have to accommodate his requests accordingly.”
Hasbulla’s tour includes an exclusive meet and greet.
Before flying to Australia, he said that he was excited to visit amazing cities and see his Aussie fans.
“I’ve heard so many great things about Australia. I’m looking forward to all the great experiences your country has to offer,” he added.
It was in late 2020 when he gained popularity by sharing videos on TikTok and Instagram. His childlike appearance and positivity attracted a huge fan base.
The nature of Hasbulla’s beliefs hasn’t been disclosed but many followers of Islam believe that men and women who are not yet married shouldn’t pose together in photos.
