A mother’s heart broke into a million pieces after the devastating confession of her four-year-old daughter.
Posting on Kidspot, the mom said she knew that there would come a time when her daughter would say words that could hurt her feelings but she also thought it would happen when she’s a teenager.
However, she was left devastated when her precious little girl started saying hurtful words at the age of four.
The mom was left heartbroken when her daughter told her: “You are ruining my life.”
She also revealed how her little girl would say: “I am not living my best life because of you, mom.”
Even though she knew that her daughter did not mean it, it “doesn’t stop it from hurting.”
Sharing a moment of when her child would say hurtful things, she shared how her daughter refused to eat the meal she had prepared for her and wanted to eat in a restaurant instead.
“No sorry darling, I’ve made some pasta that you like,” she told her, but it was enough to ruin their day.
“I know, for a small child this is a HUGE deal,” she continued.
“That tiny human I have spent 100% of my life focusing on for the last four years is all of sudden using these huge and powerful words. Words that have never been voiced in our home by anyone.
“My girl was just a baby not that long ago. Who I grew, suffered pain and endured sleepless nights for. The one who I absolutely love with my entire being… tells me that I am ruining her life.
“Of course, it hurts to hear that.”
