According to TMZ, he has since been discharged from hospital and is now recovering at home.
It was in December 2021 when Ratray was arrested after he allegedly attacked his girlfriend in a hotel room I Oklahoma.
According to reports, he got mad at her while they were drinking at a bar. The argument continued in their hotel room at Hyatt Place Oklahoma City where he allegedly strangled her.
An affidavit stated: “The victim had trouble breathing while she was being strangled and while the defendant’s hand was over her mouth.”
The actor allegedly told his girlfriend: “This is how you die” as he continued to strangle her.
The woman bit Ratray’s hand and tried to scream but Ratray allegedly became more violent.
Reports revealed that his girlfriend was found with multiple injuries including bruises on her arm, chest, and left eye, marks above the left side of her lip, and marks under her right eye.
A police source said that the actor ‘turned himself in and was processed through and bonded out,’ Fox News reported.
Ratray has since been released from custody after posting a $25,000 bond. He also denied the allegations.
The woman testified in court.
According to a transcript, she said: “Devin … doesn’t want to be known for something he did 30 years ago.
It was (a) point of contention for him his whole life and it’s something that I dealt with a lot when we were dating and that’s why he’d never done these cons before because he didn’t want to promote that he was in ‘Home Alone.’
“He was annoyed to be there and be seen as ‘Buzz’ anyway.”
