A social media influencer broke down in tears after being kicked out of the gym because she wore ‘painted pants’.
Natalie Reynolds faced backlash on social media after she filmed herself doing a ‘social experiment’ by wearing only paint to the gym.
In her video, she can be seen being confronted by a male gymgoer who said: “If you don’t have clothes on, you need to be out of here, ma’am!”
Reynolds then went closer to the man to show him that she was wearing ‘clothes on’ but he was not impressed and said: “Not fine, I work in the industry enough to know. I work in the entertainment field.”
While walking away, the man also told the influencer that people are not supposed to ‘videotape’ in the gym.
The streamer shared the video on X, formerly Twitter, and captioned her post: “Guy in the gym presses me for wearing painted pants.”
Her post quickly went viral, amassing more than 33 million views and over 12k likes.
One person commented: “With painted pants and a camera, you obviously went into the gym to get a reaction, not for any other reason. You’re in the wrong here.”
Another wrote: “That dude was 100% right. He called out your degenerate behavior and you played victim.”
A third added: “Stop being cringe filming in a gym then, we all hate influencers like you.”
Reynolds then defended her actions and said: “I was wearing a sports gym workout bra and a bathing suit bottom… why everyone acting like I was naked lmao. The amount of women who wear pants up the a** at the gym… This is nothing bad at all.”
