Jamie Foxx’s representatives have issued a statement and shut down claims that the 55-year-old star has been left ‘blind and paralyzed.

The actor was rushed to hospital on April 12 after suffering a ‘medical complication.’
He was reportedly in Atlanta, Georgia, to film his latest movie Back In Action when the incident happened.
His daughter, Corinne Foxx, was quick to go on social media to thank her father’s fans for their prayers.
TMZ also reported that the actor’s medical emergency was ‘serious enough’ that relatives rushed to see him.
Unsubstantiated claims about Foxx’s condition have been circulating online, with one outlet claiming his family was ‘hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.’
But his daughter shut down the claim in a statement and shared that her father was recovering at a physical rehabilitation facility in Chicago.
Corinne took to Instagram ad wrote: “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”
The family kept their silence on what caused the actor’s medical complication but Hollywood gossip columnist AJ Benza on the podcast Ask Dr. Drew alleged that the health care occurred after getting a vaccine while he was working on a movie.
But Foxx’s representatives were quick to shut down the speculation in a statement to NBC News, saying the claims were ‘completely inaccurate.’
On May 3, Foxx broke his silence on social media and thanked fans for their thoughts and prayers.
“Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” he wrote, adding prayer, heart and fox emojis.
