The Kansas City Chiefs may have secured a 27-24 victory against the Buffalo Bills but it was Travis Kelce’s older brother Jason Kelce, 36, who stole the spotlight when he ripped off his shirt.
After Travis scored a touchdown, Jason quickly tore his shirt off and released a victory roar that echoed throughout the stadium.
During the divisional round playoff, a shirtless Jason was seen holding a young fan up so she could meet his brother’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
According to The Independent, Jason told the young Bills fan: “We’re going to show this to Taylor real quick.”
After the sweet interaction, the former Super Bowl champion posed for a photo for the fan’s parents.
Fans rushed to social media to describe Jason’s actions as the perfect ‘Girl Dad,’ with one person saying: “Jason Kelce is an absolute angel.”
Another wrote: “Jason Kelce is a dad first. Football player second. Made that little lady’s day.”
Addressing retirement speculations, Jason discussed the topic on his podcast he co-hosts with Travis and said that when the time finally comes, he will announce it in a definitive manner.
“When it’s time to officially announce what’s happening in the future, it’ll be done in a way that’s definitive and pays respect to a lot of people and individuals that have meant a lot to me and what has led to the career I’ve had, and I don’t think it would be respectful or even accurate to be able to do that right after a game like that,” he said.
