Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are heading for divorce after only four years of marriage, sources confirmed to TMZ.
The Do It Like That singer is reportedly ‘on the cusp’ of filing for divorce from the Game of Thrones star, with a source claiming that they have been experiencing ‘serious problems.’
According to the outlet, Jonas has been caring for their two daughters ‘pretty much all the time’ for the last three months even while he was on ‘FIVE ALBUMS. ONE NIGHT’ tour with his brothers Kevin and Nick Jonas.
It seems that there has been no problem as the coupe have attended events together and Turner was spotted dancing at the Yankee stadium for the opening night of the Jonas Brothers’ tour just last month.
However, TMZ revealed that Joe had his team reach out and consult wit at least two divorce lawyers and he was also seen not wearing his ring.
Also, the couple sold their mansion in Miami only a year after acquiring the property.
Turner and Jonas’ relationship started in 2016 after their friends set them up. According to PEOPLE, the Dark Phoenix star revealed that Jonas messaged her on Instagram ‘one fine day, out of the blue.’
That same year, they confirmed their relationship before going official on Instagram in January 2017. Only months later, Jonas popped the question and Turner said yes.
She said at that time: “It’s lovely to be engaged. Not like I achieved anything, but I found my person like I’d find a house that I love and want to stay in forever. There’s a sense of peace that comes with finding your person. But there’s a drive that comes with your career.”
In May 2019, the two got married at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas then tied the knot again in France.
