Kate Middleton looked ‘happy, healthy and relaxed’ as she was seen out for the first time since undergoing surgery in January.
The Prince and Princess of Wales were seen visiting The Windsor Farm Shop after watching their children – Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Louis, 5 – participate in sports.
Speaking to The Sun, a local who saw Princess Kate and Prince William has expressed their shock upon seeing the couple.
“After all the rumors that had been going round I was stunned to see them there. Kate was out shopping with William and she looked happy and she looked well,” the witness said.
“The kids weren’t with them but it’s such a good sign she was healthy enough to pop down to the shops.”
Even though there were no photos taken as the couple requested for privacy while the mom-of-three recovers, the sighting is a good sign that she will soon return to official royal engagements.
The Princess is expected to return to her public duties after April 17 but there is a suggestion that she could return earlier and may attend the annual Easter Matins service at St. George’s Chapel.
Her Windsor sighting and reports of an early return came only days after she was photographed in the back of a car alongside her husband as they left Windsor Castle.
