The first image of the Princess of Wales has just been released to put an end to worries and speculations about her condition following her abdominal surgery.
The Mother’s Day photo, officially issued by Kensington Palace, shows Kate Middleton, 42, smiling alongside her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
But picture agencies including AP, Getty, AFP and Reuters immediately withdrew the photo over ‘possible digital manipulation.’
“At closer inspection it appears that the source has manipulated the image,” AP said in a statement as other agencies demand it be deleted from photo libraries.
Reuters said that the image was being removed from circulation after a post publication review.
AFP also said: “Mandatory kill. Due to an editorial issue this photo by the Prince of Wales has been withdrawn… and may no longer by used in any manner. Please immediately remove it from all your online services, stop using it in any other fashion and delete it from your servers.”
Royal watchers and eagle-eyed members of the public were also quick to mention that the sleeve of Princess Charlotte’s arm did not line up.
The Princess of Wales has stepped back from her royal duties following her planned abdominal surgery on January 16.
Kensington Palace declined to comment on the development but people hope that Kate will return to action this Easter.
