There is no doubt that Keanu Reeves, 58, is one of the nicest actors and he has proven once again that he’s also one of the best after he knelt on stage as adoring fans didn’t want to stop giving him a standing ovation.
The Hollywood star is set to appear in the new John Wick: Chapter 4 movie and has traveled to Brazil for a promotional event.
The Comic Con Experience (CCXP) was held in Sao Paulo, three weeks after it was reported that the actor was not yet finished with John Wick.
In a video shared on social media, Keanu was visibly touched when fans gave him a standing ovation that he dropped to his knees and bowed before them.
Speaking about his action afterwards, Keanu told Estadao that he couldn’t believe the fans’ reaction.
“It was very special,” he expressed.
“The people here are very nice and generous. It’s really cool that they like John Wick here. I really appreciate it. CCXP is legendary, but it went beyond what I imagined.”
During a panel, the Matrix star claimed that the fourth John Wick film was the most difficult movie he’d ever done.
“John Wick 4 is the hardest movie I’ve ever made. In terms of action, it’s the hardest film I’ve ever made. But that’s what makes it good,” he said.
Keanu also explained one of the challenging scenes included a fight scene in traffic, which was filmed in Paris.
He also said that the movie would see his enemies come from different parts of the world.
“The table is this world above the world; and the people, the assassins, under the table are as boundless as the grains of sand on the beach,” he went on.
“So there (are) a lot of people coming after John Wick. But really, for the John Wick film(s), it’s really just the invention of the scene, right? How can you do these scenes?”
