Kourtney Kardashian was showered with praise after she took to social media and shared ‘empowering’ photos following emergency fetal surgery.
The 44-year-old revealed last week that she had to undergo ‘urgent fetal surgery’ to save the life of her unborn child.
Posting a black-and-white photo of her baby bump, the reality TV star praised her ‘incredible doctors’ for saving her baby.
Kardashian thanked her husband, Travis Barker, after he left his tour to be with her as she underwent the urgent fetal surgery.
She also thanked her mother for supporting her, writing: “And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”
The soon-to-be mom-of-four revealed that undergoing the surgery was far different from her previous pregnancies.
“I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear,” she expressed.
Kardashian told her followers that the experience brought her a new respect for other moms who have also had similar experiences.
She also said that being able to leave the hospital with her baby safe in her womb is ‘the truest blessing.’
“Praise be to God,” she added.
In her photos, she can be seen cradling her baby bump while wearing a black bra and matching gloves. She also matched it with a black jacket and leather pants.
Kardashian also has three children with ex-partner Scott Disick: son Mason, 13, daughter Penelope, 11, and son Reign, 8.
One fan commented: “100% agree. Pregnancy is amazing. I have never felt so feminine, so empowered and so ALIVE.”
Another said: “I’m empowered by Kourtney.”
A third wrote: “You are powerful and this baby will make you even stronger and more powerful.”
Someone else added: “Kourtney is empowering.”
