Kourtney Kardashian has been slammed by critics who think she is ‘too old’ for a baby after she got pregnant at the age of 44.
It was in June when the reality TV star shared the news of her fourth pregnancy. She was spotted holding a sign that read ‘Travis, I’m pregnant!’ during one of her husband Travis Barker’s live shows.
However, many people criticized the Lemme founder for getting pregnant.
Kourtney previously told Vanity Fair Italia that they had a difficult journey to conception. Despite undergoing IVF multiple times, they still experienced setbacks.
“If we’re meant to have a baby, then it’s just going to happen,” she said, adding that it happened when they stopped controlling it.
“When we stopped forcing the process, then it happened,” she expressed.
Speaking about the negative remarks she and her husband have received, Kourtney said: “Those comments don’t affect me.”
She added: “To those who make them, I just say: how dare you question God’s plan?”
The 44-year-old has three children, Reign Disick, Mason, and Penelope, with her ex Scott Disick. But she revealed that her current pregnancy feels different.
But she emphasized that she liked being pregnant.
“I like being pregnant. I’m obsessed with the idea of being pregnant!” she disclosed in the interview.
In September, a terrifying moment occurred when Kourtney was rushed to hospital and underwent ‘urgent fetal surgery.’
She wrote on Instagram at that time: “I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear.
“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life.”
She did not share further details about the hospital visit and her focus is now on welcoming her baby boy.
