JUST IN: New York Magazine Deletes And Reposts Tweet About Meghan Markle To Add ‘Duchess Of Sussex’ Title


New York Magazine appears to be confused over the role of Meghan Markle in the Royal Family as it deleted and reposted a tweet about her to add her title – Duchess of Sussex.

According to the Daily Star, the publication deleted a tweet that only mentioned her name and added her title Duchess of Sussex.

The original post read: “Presenting our Fall Fashion issue cover star: Meghan Markle.”

But the post was later deleted and replaced with: ‘Presenting our Fall Fashion issue cover star: Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.’

Both tweets noted that she has already cut ties with the Royal Family, also referred to as ‘The Firm.’

“She’s left the Firm behind. Harry’s found a polo team in Santa Barbara. The kids are doing great,” the post reads.

The other change in the post is the last sentence which originally read: “She’s ready for her own next act” and was changed to “Now Markle is ready for her own next act.”

Below the pitch is the cover page featuring Meghan wearing a black turtleneck. Some day that it is reminiscent of the photo of the late Princess Diana on the cover of Michael O Mara’s photobook.

In the bombshell interview, Meghan proudly declares her independence from the monarchy.

“Do you want to know a secret? I’m getting back… on Instagram.”

The duchess claimed that she was restricted to a pre-existing account @KensingtonRoyal while she was still a senior member of the Royal Family.

Before she tied the knot with Harry, she had her own Instagram account with more than three million followers.

“It’s a big adjustment – a huge adjustment to go from that kind of autonomy to a different life,” she expressed.
