A furious groom has called out his cheating partner in front of hundreds of guests at the couple’s engagement party.
64-year-old Massimo Segre is a millionaire from Turin, Italy, who prepared a very special speech for his fiancée, 47-year-old Cristina Seymandi, as the pair held a lavish engagement party at his mansion.
In front of some 150 guests, Massimo accused his partner of cheating on him “mentally and s*xually” while insisting the woman had been in a relationship with a lawyer behind his back.
To back his claims, the millionaire also shared a series of photos allegedly showing his girlfriend with another man as she read out his speech.
“I want to give Cristina the freedom to love. Specifically, to love another person; a notable lawyer, who she clearly cares about more than me. Dear Cristina, I know how much you are in love with him mentally and sexually,” Massimo said as his white-faced fiancée watched on in silence from the shock.
“And I know that before him you had a relationship with an industrialist acquaintance. Don’t think it pleases me to look like a cuckold in front of all of you.”
The groom-to-be continued: “Cristina is so good at telling her truths, that I couldn’t leave her alone to narrate the reason why I’m ending [our] life together tonight. It’s a banal story of infidelity, even premarital. I am so disappointed, I am heartbroken.”
Despite everything that he said, Massimo then concluded his speech on a more positive note as he wished Cristina happiness and told her they could continue their professional collaboration in the future.
After the shocking, high-profile event, Cristina spoke out to defend herself against the cheating allegations saying Massimo “meticulously planned his revenge” as part of his “psychological violence” against her.
Her lawyer also insisted that legal action will be taken against the millionaire for allegedly defaming Cristina and subjecting her to the attention of the media and threats.
“He was very tired at the time. I am sure there’s someone behind him who fanned the flames. In short, manipulated him,” Cristian told La Stampa.
“It was a farce, let’s face it. Serious things are resolved another way. Now I will consider whether to sue him.”
