The man who previously made headlines as he revealed he had spent a small fortune on his transformation into a dog has once again managed to leave people baffled.
Toco, a man from Japan who wants to be a dog, caused a social media uproar when he revealed he spent $15,000 on an ultra-realistic animal costume.
The dog-lover has since been sharing frequent updates about his canine lifestyle including videos showing him eating, playing, and walking around in the dog costume.
Now, the Japanese faux dog appeared to take his transformation a step further as he bought a metal cage to sleep in.
As seen in one of the videos, the person who lives with Toco locks the ‘dog’ in the cage before turning off the lights and letting him sleep. After Toco begins scratching at the door of the cage, his companion lets him out of the cage.
“Ever since I was a small child, I wanted to be an animal. I think it is a desire to transform. I’ve thought about it since I can remember,” Toco previously admitted in an interview with MailOnline.
He also revealed that he keeps his “hobbies” hidden from the people he knows because he doesn’t want to be judged by people who don’t understand his desire.
“I don’t want my hobbies to be known, especially by the people I work with. They think it’s weird that I want to be a dog. For the same reason why I can’t show my real face,” he added.
Speaking of his hidden hobby to The Mirror, he elaborated: “I rarely tell my friends because I am afraid they will think I am weird. My friends and family seemed very surprised to learn I became an animal.”
He further admitted to enjoying “doing the things only dogs do” because it makes him feel like a pet.
