The man who famously transformed himself into a collie now attempted to complete an agility test for canines for the first time.
The Japanese man, who is only known at Toco, is a next-level dog lover who spent $15,000 on transforming himself into a collie after a lifelong dream of becoming a dog.
After getting an ultra-realistic costume from Zeppet, the man first spoke out about his obsessions with canines and admitted he was most at peace while acting like a dog.
Since then, Toco was pictured going out for walks on a leash with his friend and caretaker and meeting real dogs in parks.
While he undoubtedly looks like a real dog, Toco seems to be missing some canine skills as he failed to pass the agility test by crashing after attempting to jump over a steel hurdle.
Applauding his attempts were his most loyal fans who reacted to Toco’s videos with words of encouragement.
“It’s not an easy task, next time it will go better. Practice makes perfect,” someone wrote.
“I respect you for getting along so well in this costume,” another said.
Not everyone, however, was amazed by Toco’s failed agility course test.
“I was surprised by how realistic the dog suit looked… until he moved in it. It looks like a robot,” one critic wrote.
Another said: “I could do better than that and I don’t even identify as a dog.”
Toco previously opened up about his bizarre passion in an interview with MailOnline in 2022.
“Ever since I was a small child, I wanted to be an animal. I think it is a desire to transform. I’ve thought about it since I can remember,” he said.
“I don’t want my hobbies to be known, especially by the people I work with. They think it’s weird that I want to be a dog. For the same reason why I can’t show my real face.”
