‘Sister Wives’ star Meri Brown has left fans shocked as she celebrated her 53rd birthday with an announcement.
Sharing a series of photos of herself with a man, she wrote: “Birthday #53 is looking a bit different for me this year, and might I say, I like how it looks! Meet Amos, the good-looking guy I’ve been dating since October!”
She added that even though he’s not a pilot or 6ft tall, they laugh a lot together and ‘he loves Christmas almost as much as I do.’
Brown also shared that her dog Zona ‘absolutely loves’ Amos and even shared an adorable picture of her furry companion comfortably placing her paw on her new beau’s hand.
Explaining her decision to keep their romance private until now, the realty TV star said: “I’ve been keeping this kind of close to me as we’ve been enjoying the last few months of dating and getting to know each other.
“As I’ve considered when and how I wanted to share this fun news and share him with the world (jk, not really sharing, I’m keeping him to myself) I knew I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a special way and let you celebrate this with me.”
The actress concluded her post: “I feel like I’m getting this year off to a great start, and I can’t wait to share more with you as the year moves forward.”
This comes only a year after it was confirmed that Brown and Kody Brown, her husband of more than 30 years, have decided to separate ways.
Speaking about their split in an interview with PEOPLE, she said: “I am very confident and I know what I’m worthy of and I am a very good business person and I know how to create safe boundaries around myself. And, yeah, it’s pretty good. I’m not too shabby of a person.”
