JUST IN: Michael J. Fox’s Representatives Issued A HEARTBREAKING Statement After The Actor, 61, FELL On Stage


Michael J Fox’s representatives have issued a statement after the actor fell on stage during his appearance at the Fan Expo in Philadelphia.

The 61-year-old star joined his fellow Back To the Future cast members Tom Wilson, 64, and Christopher Lloyd, 84, who were on stage for the Q&A panel when he suddenly fell forward while crossing the stage.

Fox, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease at the age of 29, was seen walking toward his co-stars when he lost his footing.

A couch broke his fall and he stood back up like a champ and the crowd immediately cheered him on.

After the video of the incident was posted online, fans became very concerned about the actor’s wellbeing.

Fox’s representatives were quick to speak out to reassure fans that the 61-year-old actor is ‘doing great.’

In a statement, they told Mirror: “Michael has Parkinson’s. It’s no secret that people with Parkinson’s fall. He is doing great and if you watch the video he immediately jumps to his feet and continues with the Q and A.”

The statement continued: “If you have any other inquiries about Michael and living with PD, please watch his Documentary STILL streaming on AppleTV +.”

It was in 1991 when Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, which affects the nervous system. He did not go public about his condition until 1998.

According to the Mayo Clinic, symptoms usually start slowly and can affect movement and speech over time.

The actor started his own foundation to promote research into potential treatments to help others living with the condition.

In a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Fox opened up about his condition and admitted that things are getting more difficult for him.

“I had spinal surgery. I had a tumor on my spine. And it was benign, but it messed up my walking. And then, started to break stuff,” he said.

“Broke this arm, and I broke this arm, I broke this elbow. I broke my face. I broke my hand. Which is a big killer with Parkinson’s. It’s falling and aspirating food and getting pneumonia. All these subtle ways that get ya.”
