A mother from Texas went viral on social media after warning other parents about letting their children watch Hocus Pocus 2.
Just last year, fans of the classic movie were thrilled after Disney finally released a sequel to the film.
However, mother Jamie Gooch was quick to emphasize the dangers of “(unleashing) h*ll on your kids and in your home.”
In an interview with KWTX, the mother-of-three said: “Do not watch this film.
“Everybody thinks it’s fake and innocent, but they could be casting any type of spell that they want to, anything could be coming through that TV screen into your home.
“The whole movie is based on witches harvesting children for blood sacrifices.”
Gooch said that she loves creating a safe environment for her family, adding that everything starts at home.
“So beware – and be aware – of what we’re bringing into our homes and our everyday lives, my husband and our children should be experiencing something different here in our home than they’re experiencing out in the world,” she told the outlet.
Gooch then said that she believes there’s ‘spiritual war’ being waged against Americans. She also revealed that her family haven’t participated in Halloween in five years.
“It grieves me, the thought of exposing our kids to darkness,” she went on.
She also took to Facebook and claimed that Hocus Pocus 2 was more than just a movie.
“It goes further than Halloween, it’s a year-round thing, we constantly need to be cautious of what we’re consuming, what we’re bringing in and what we’re sending out,” she expressed.
Her now-deleted post on Facebook to discuss the issue sparked a lengthy debate, with many defending the film while others gave her some support.
