A 31-year-old mother shared a heartbreaking final message on social media before passing away, leaving behind her husband and two children.
Erin Corner was diagnosed with stage four ampullary cancer and used TikTok to share updates about her condition.
His grieving family announced her passing in a heartbreaking statement that read: “Our beautiful Erin passed away pain-free and peacefully this morning.”
The family also expressed their gratitude for well-wishers, adding: “You all made a massive impact on her final months and weeks and we are so grateful to you all.”
Erin shared her final video on January 2.
In the heartbreaking video, she and her husband went to the British supermarket Tesco. “I’ve made it out of the We’re getting fuel and heading to Aberystwyth Tesco. We made it, guys,” she expressed.
“Realistically this is going to be my last ever trip out of the house alive – which is quite a realization to happen. This is going to be the last time I go out of the house, by choice, to do something I want to do. Wild.”
Erin revealed that she first visited her doctor to get some medicine. Once inside Tesco, she said: “There are Easter things in Tesco. How insane is that? We’re literally not even over Christmas.”
The mother returned to the car and went to their local McDonald’s drive-thru where she ordered her ‘last ever dirty Maccies.’
She also ordered a Galaxy hot chocolate, Chicken Selects, coffee, and an apple pie.
Before ending the video, she told her supporters: “Well guys, we’ve got the goods. It’s been an uneventful but lovely last trip out for me. My back is in agony. Like, I won’t lie… Other than that, I feel absolutely fine.”
The mother continued: “So I call it a success. And I did manage to buy one new laundry set and two cozy PJ sets.
“Look at me, splashing it on myself. We’re home now – thanks for coming on my last trip out with me.”
