‘It Was Daylight Robbery!’ Mother Left In TEARS After Spending Nearly $4,000 In Just One Day At Disney World


A mother was left in tears after her family spent nearly $4,000 in just one day at Disney World.

Sharing their experience on TikTok, Summer Reign Henning posted a video breaking down the costs during their first day in Disney.

Her video gained more than two million views and thousands of comments, with many expressing their shock at the steep prices.

Henning explained in the video that she spent $870 for tickets and Lightning Lane, which lets you save time from waiting in line so you can enjoy more rides. However, she said they only got to enjoy one ride.

The mom then bought four headbands, which cost $130. For their ‘mediocre breakfast’, they ate at Hollywood and Vine which cost $223.

After their meal, they went to Toy Story Land but only got to enjoy one ride even with Lightning Lane. “Ice cream was $25 and popcorn was $16,” she said.

The mother then revealed that they bought three lightsabers at Galaxy’s Edge, which cost them $800.

“They also no longer hold them for you until the end of the day plus different airlines have different restrictions when flying home so we opted to ship them to us for an additional $40,” Henning continued.

The family then bought the ‘infamous blue and green milk’ for $27 and had some fries and burgers at Backlot for $80.

For dessert, they went to Epic Eats and bought some funnel cakes which cost $44.

She also said she paid $170 for ‘cell phone quality pictures.’

The family then had dinner at Planet Hollywood where they spent $311.

“Factoring in our nightly hotel rate of $997, it brings our total to $3,758 for the day,” she said.

TikTok users were shocked by the amount they have spent and most were baffled as to why she paid this much.

One viewer commented: “You lost me at $200 for BREAKFAST?!”

Another said: “Soooo many mistakes in the planning. No reason to spend on food like that.”

A third added: “You spent $250 PER light saber???? I can’t feel bad if you’re willing to do that.”
