Paris Hilton surprised her fans when she revealed that she and her husband, Carter Reum, are expecting a baby girl.
Only 11 months after their son, Phoenix, was born, Paris took to Instagram and shared a photo of a pink baby outfit, along with a small teddy bear and a pair of heart-shaped sunglasses.
“Thankful for my baby girl,” she captioned her post.
The embroidery on the tiny pink clothes revealed that their baby girl’s unique and adorable name: London.
The moniker has been in Hilton’s mind for some time. She previously mentioned on her ‘I am Paris’ podcast that London is her favorite city and that she wants to name her daughter after it.
The 42-year-old mom revealed that she had chosen the name London long before the arrival of their baby girl.
“I had actually picked that name for a long time now, probably over 10 years. I always wanted London. I love that name for my daughter,” she said, adding that she liked the idea of ‘mom-and-daughter’ duo being named after two famous capital cities.
But Paris’ long-time fans were quick to make the connection she has with the name London.
Those who watched the popular Disney sitcom ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ remember one character who played the bubbly hotel heiress named London Tipton, which was based on the American socialite.
It was also something that the actress acknowledged in a 2017 post on Twitter, writing: “That London Tipton is basically me!”
One person wrote: “The fact that London Tipton is a parody of Paris Hilton, and Paris is having a baby named London feels like a full circle moment.”
Another wrote: “The way London Tipton was based on Paris Hilton and now Paris is having a baby named London we’ve come full circle.”
A third said: “London Tipton is basically Paris Hilton and Paris named her daughter London.”
Someone else added: “London Tipton inspired by Paris Hilton who named her daughter London Hilton inspired by London Tipton.”
