Pete Davidson, 29, has been charged with reckless driving after he crashed his car into a Beverly Hills home.
The former SNL star was driving his Mercedes when he veered off the road and slammed into a corner of the house.
According to reports, Davidson and his girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders, 27, had just returned from Hawaii and had been going around through the Flats neighborhood in Beverly Hills when the crash happened.
The incident happened at around 11 pm, as the ex of Kim Kardashian ‘lost control’ of his car before it veered off the road and crashed into the house.
Photos obtained by TMZ showed skid marks across the grass and damage to the Beverly Hills house.
Police rushed to the scene but did not suspect alcohol or drugs to have been a factor in the incident.
While the 16-year-old child of the homeowner was in the properly when the crash occurred, nobody was hurt in the collision.
The outlet reported that the LA County Attorney’s Office has charged Davidson with one count of reckless driving.
Speaking to TMZ, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said: “Luckily, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision. We know that reckless driving can have devastating consequences.
“In 2022, traffic fatalities in Los Angeles have reached the highest levels seen in 20 years. This is an alarming trend that we cannot ignore.
“As a result, it’s crucial that we take all allegations of reckless driving seriously and hold those responsible accountable.”
The comedian is scheduled to be arraigned on July 27, with the charge carrying a sentence of up to 90 days behind bars, mark on driving license, and a $1,000 fine.
