Singer Pink has sparked a lengthy debate after she revealed that her 11-year-old daughter can’t have a cellphone until she provides proof that social media is ‘good for you’.
Speaking with KTU 103.5 FM, the mother-of-two opened up about her parenting style and said that she has implemented a no-phone policy eve though every other student in her daughter Willow’s class owns a phone.

Pink continued: “It’s hard. A lot of my friends, they have their kids on TikTok, and I don’t. I told Willow, ‘That just doesn’t move my needle. They’re not my kids. You’re my kid.’”

“She has a lot of eyes on her,” she expressed., adding that social media can be damaging to a child’s vulnerable mind.
The Just Give Me A Reason hitmaker also revealed that she told her daughter: “If you can produce literature from a reputable source that tells me that social media is good for you, then you can be on it. Otherwise, good luck.”
Pink shares Willow and son Jameson Moon, 6, with her husband Carey Hart.
She added: “She could be a lawyer, she could literally pass the bar. She’s always right. She might actually find that literature, but good luck!”
