Serena Williams shared a photo of herself cuddling with her 3-month-old daughter Adira River after admitting that she’s ‘not okay today’.
The heartwarming photo shows her baby sleeping on her chest. “This makes me so happy,” she captioned her post on X, formerly Twitter.
This comes after the tennis icon shared a post admitting: “I am not ok today. And that’s ok to be not ok.”
The 42-year-old, who welcomed her second child with husband Alexis Ohanian, continued: “No one is ok every single day. If you are not ok today I’m with you. There’s always tomorrow. Love you.”
Williams sported a green t-shirt in the photo while her baby Adira was swaddled in a dark wrap.
Earlier this month, the mother-of-two shared a glimpse of their moments at home. In the video posted on Tiktok, her 6-year-old daughter Olympia can be seen pinching her baby sister’s cheeks.
“Olympia is obsessed with being a big sis. She’s always pinching Adira’s cheeks,” Williams captioned her post, adding the hashtags “#babytok #bigsis #siblingsbelike #olympiaohanian #adiraohanian #siblingcheck #siblinggoals #daughters #momtok #momsotiktok #fyp #foryou.”
It was in May 2015 when she and Ohanian first met over breakfast in Rome.
According to People, the two were seated next to each other at a restaurant when Williams asked Ohanian to sit with her and her friends during the meal.
Only a year later, the couple got engaged and tied the knot in 2017 before welcoming Olympia in September.
One fan commented: “You need to take time for yourself during these early weeks. It is draining and so rewarding . Rest and ask for help. You have this.”
