Finding out that your partner has been cheating on you can be devastating.
A heartbroken who discovered that her husband has been unfaithful has shared how she publicly brutally shamed him but people were left divided by her act of revenge.
Taking to Reddit, the furious wife revealed that she displayed her husband’s secret in a savage note on a mattress left outside their home but many thought that it was too much.
Written in red paint, the scathing message reads: “I changed the locks (his name). Take the bed to (her name)’s house.”
She added: “I’m divorcing you. I told the kids what you did in our bed and they don’t love daddy anymore.”
It is not only the neighbors who saw the cruel message as she also posted a photo of it on Reddit, captioned: “Let’s bring the kids to this!”
Reddit users were shocked and divided by whether the woman went too far.
One person commented: “Shaming your partner for cheating is fine in my book but your kids deserve to have a good relationship with their dad, not have him slandered for something that had nothing to do with them.”
Another said: “The kids deserve to know why their family is getting split apart. Obviously you have to cater somewhat to their age, but kids are smarter than we give them credit for.”
A third added: “This is anger and hurt in action before thinking.”
Someone else wrote: “Why don’t the kids deserve to know that someone important in their life is a bad person. I mean I wouldn’t tell them details, but if they already know what s*x is, they should know that their father did something wrong.”
